Hydra and BrandVerity Unite to Innovate Search Monitoring

Hydra, the largest pure performance-based advertising network, today announced a new partnership with BrandVerity, a leading developer of compliance technologies. Through this relationship, Hydra will deploy BrandVerity's recently launched search monitoring tool PoachMark across its network, providing industry-leading search compliance for Hydra's advertisers.
PoachMark detects unauthorized bidding on branded and select keywords by monitoring the search ads on Google, Yahoo! and Bing from distributed geographic locations. The PoachMark technology employs unique methodologies specifically designed to foil the techniques violators exploit to hide from traditional keyword monitoring tools.
"We looked at and tested lots of partners, but BrandVerity's PoachMark tool is by far the most robust search compliance tool in the industry," said Rachel Corcoran, Director of Compliance for Hydra. PoachMark, recently out of beta testing, will also benefit from this partnership through close coordination with Hydra's compliance department which will provide important insight into new techniques used by violators to thwart monitoring.
